The Life and Death and Innervisions collaborative party Rakastella is all about love—love for music, love for one another, the planet, and love for the unpredictable magic that occurs when good people dance to cultured sounds.
This year’s line up features AceMoMA, Diplo b2b Carlita, Dixon, TSHA, DJ Boring, DJ Tennis b2b Seth Troxler, Sofia Kourtesis, Moodymann, Jennifer Cardini, Or:la, Trikk, Ashley Venom, Will Renuart, Coffintexts, Powder, Quest, and Yu Su who all play across multiple stages that all have their own unique visual identity.
It goes down at the picturesque Virginia Key Beach Park, Miami on Saturday December 3rd, 2022 — the last few tickets are available at https://rakastella.com/
Here are five reasons not to miss it.
The festival’s inclusive attitude
Rakastella is a mindfully curated, 15+ hour party that wants to represent everyone on the line up and on the dance floor. This year, once again, that diversity as well as the need to make the whole festival a safe space that is welcoming to one and all is in sharp focus.
The line up
There is plenty of class at Rakastella with top level Das from the worlds of house, techno, bass and everything in between. The likes of AceMoMA, Diplo b2b Carlita, Dixon, TSHA, DJ Boring, DJ Tennis b2b Seth Troxler, Sofia Kourtesis, Moodymann, Jennifer Cardini, Or:la, Trikk, Ashley Venom, Will Renuart, Coffintexts, Powder, Quest, Yu Su and more all play this year so expect plenty of passion on the dance floor.
Stage hosts
Stage hosts this year include the free-thinking and inclusive clubbing collective HE.SHE.THEY which have brought their gender, sexuality and body positive vibes to the likes of Glastonbury in the last year. Also hosting will be Where Are My Keys?, a Miami born, boutique underground brand that hosts unique international events with world class sounds.
An improved 2022 experience
Rakastella works hard to improve each year and in 2022 they have an increased number of washrooms which will be continuously staffed for cleanliness, water refill stations to keep you hydrated as well as bars that, after 3am by law, will have a curated virgin cocktail list, pressed juices, and fresh options that will allow you to go late but feel good.
The eco-awareness
Rakastella has partnered with Ascendance and has added two Climate Action initiatives for the first time, which will include a baseline carbon emission assessment and a food rescue program that will donate leftover food to Miami Rescue Mission. Another highlight is investment in their very own reusable cup system having always been a long-time pioneer in partying sustainably in Miami.
