Born in Scotland but based in Australia, Mha Iri has become synonymous with 1605 and this is her seventh time featuring on the record label.
She has also released her peak time style of techno on other record labels including Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail and Spektre’s Respekt.
Not only is Mha Iri a talented producer, she is also well-known for her exceptional DJ skills. Playing regularly at events across Australia, she has also received international bookings in Germany and other parts of the world.
“Timeless” opens the release with a tense intro that’s full of dark atmospherics. The rumbling bassline and sinister melody is layered with trippy vocal textures that add to the building suspense. Reaching a crescendo in the main breakdown, it lifts up a gear when the percussion slams back in with devastating force.
“Here With You” has a compelling sense of purpose with the seductive tones of an inspirational vocal. Its grinding bass textures and hypnotic melody loop are driven by a pounding kick drum, and its epic breakdown has spine-tingling anticipation. The track’s vigorous energy is perfect for maximum impact on the dance floor.
