Following a hectic summer of releases, gigs, international and festival debuts and yet more tastemaker support, sensational duo TIBASKO release upbeat, club-ready new single ‘Freedom (In Ur Mind)’, out now on Another Rhythm. A sure-fire star of their imminent tour sets and those of DJs worldwide, the cut showcases the long-time best mates genre-agnostic approach and bell-clear production.

‘Freedom (In Ur Mind)’ overlays breaksy percussion with a thudding house beat, while the breakdowns further highlight the hook-laden pitch-shifted vocal riff and chiming note sequences. A touch of acid, and a nu-disco/funk vibe from those stabbing piano chords, ensure an irresistible dance engine for peak-time play.

With all tickets only £5, the ‘Lady Godiva’ UK tour sees TIBASKO aka Ken Petalcorin and Andy Bowden acknowledge both the UK cost of living crisis, and the longterm pandemic effect on club culture.
